Leicester City earned a point in their Premier League comeback after drawing 1-1 with Spurs thanks to a header from veteran striker Jamie Vardy.

Spurs immediately pressed forward and had a chance in the 6th minute. When James Maddison took a corner kick to the near post for Bentancur to flick on to the far post. But the ball was almost over the line but was cleared away by a Leicester player just in time.  

“The Golden Spurs” had two close chances to score from Dominic Solanke’s header. But were unable to get past the home team’s goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen.

In the 70th minute, Leicester almost took the lead when a beautiful pass was passed to them. Before Buonanotte passed to Jamie Vardy who broke away. And shot at the near post but Guillermo Vicario who dived to save it.

The game was halted for several minutes towards the end. When Spurs’ Rodrigo Bentancur was tackled and eventually forced off with a concussion, replaced by Archie Gray.

In the first minute of stoppage time, Leicester almost got the winning goal when Stefi Mawiwidi crossed from the left into the penalty area for Wilfred Ndidi to head hard, but Guillermo Vicario saved it.

Then the game ended with both teams drawing 1-1, each team getting a point.
