Ex-Chelsea forward Tony Cascarino believes England midfielder Conor Gallagher would do well with a Liverpool player.

The 22-year-old star has made an outstanding move to Crystal Palace on loan. And in the warm-up game against the “roaring lions” that beat Switzerland 2-1, it was also the assist for Luke Shaw to score a goal until he received a lot of praise.

Cascarino believes that “Reds” should buy Gallagher in the belief that it will go well for sure, but thinks “Chelsea” will not sell for sure.

“Conor Gallagher is an outstanding attacking midfielder who always seems to score goals or assists,” Cascarino told talkSPORT. play in this way a lot.”

“Liverpool, for me, if they get more players like this in the back three of the attacking line. With his ability to score goals, Chelsea would never sell him to Liverpool.”

“Conor Gallagher will score goals, whether he gets a chance at Chelsea or not, I don’t know. Nobody at Chelsea does the way he does. But it’s up to Thomas Tuchel if he wants to play with players like this in his system or not.

“I hope he (Tuchel) will give him a chance.”

Former England defender Stuart Pearce added his plaudits to the conversation.

He told UFABET : “Gallagher was the pick [of the debutants]. The hour he had he impressed. Plenty of energy as you would expect and he took his club form onto the international stage.

“Behind him, [Marc] Guehi had a solid game and got better and better as the game went on.

“England improved in the second half and when they made the substitutes they went up to another level as well to get us over the line.”
