De Rossi began the season as Roma manager but was axed in September and replaced by Ivan Juric.

De Rossi spoke to a number of journalists, including from Football Italia, in the mixed zone at the Stadio Franchi for Pepito’s farewell match for Giuseppe Rossi.
“It was a great opportunity to meet and say goodbye to Pepito Rossi. A great player and a great, wonderful person,” De Rossi said.
“We joke that there are many great coaches and players these days. But I’m the only one who has played with him and coached him since I had him for a short time at SPAL who is happy to be here.”
Asked for his thoughts on Ranieri at Roma, De Rossi had a simple answer: “Fantastic.”
It’s worth noting that Roma collected the most points in 2025 among the top five European leagues—29 out of 33.
